Like nearly everyone else on WordPress, I would like to write a book. Sorry. That’s just a lie. I’ll start again.
Like nearly everyone else on WordPress, I would like to have written a book. In July last year, I decided to start writing a blog, called 23thorns.com, in order to force myself to start writing and keep writing.
Like nearly everyone else on WordPress, I didn’t finish the book. I hardly even started it. But I did blog. A lot. About anything that came to mind.
It turned out that what came to mind, more often than not, was wildlife. The wildlife of South Africa’s Lowveld. 23thorns.com has become a bit of a juggernaut, with a little bit of everything thrown in. I’ve decided that it’s time to set up a separate blog that focuses on my wildlife writing, ostensibly because it will be easier for people who enjoy wildlife to navigate around, but mostly because it will let me set up a whole new blog without having to write anything for months.
To start off with, I will just be reposting wildlife articles from my other blog to here, with minor changes here and there to make sure they make sense. Once I catch up with myself, I will post any wildlife articles both here and at 23thorns.com
Note that almost none of the photo’s on the blog are mine; I’m no photographer. Should you find a picture of your own here, and want it removed, let me know and I will do so immediately. Should you wish to sue me, bear in mind that I don’t have any money and will have to sell one of my children.
That’s already far too long for an about page, so I’ll stop. Read on. And enjoy.
